Statement of Faith

Our Statement of Faith at Thrive House of Redemption Ministry

Statement of Faith

Thrive House of Redemption Ministry (ThriveHouseORM) is a Christ-centered ministry rooted in Scripture, devoted to prayer, deliverance, discipleship, and the Great Commission. Below is a clear summary of what we believe.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God—our final rule for faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105

God (The Trinity)

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal and co-eternal.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is the eternal Son of God—fully God and fully Man—conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily on the third day, ascended to the Father, and will return in glory.
John 1:1–14; Luke 1:34–35; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus, convicts of sin, regenerates the believer, indwells, comforts, and empowers the Church with gifts for life and ministry today.
John 16:7–15; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12; Romans 8:9–16

Humanity & Sin

We believe all people are created in God’s image yet fallen through sin and unable to save themselves. Our only hope is God’s grace in Christ.
Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–5

Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe salvation is God’s free gift—received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works—resulting in forgiveness, new birth, and adoption into God’s family.
Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10; Titus 3:5–7

Sanctification & Holy Living

We believe the Holy Spirit transforms believers to live in holiness, obedience, integrity, and love. We pursue maturity through prayer, the Word, fellowship, and surrender to God’s will. 1 Peter 1:15–16; Galatians 5:16–25; Romans 12:1–2

The Church

We believe the universal Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all true believers. God places us in local churches for worship, discipleship, service, and mission.
Ephesians 1:22–23; Hebrews 10:24–25; Acts 2:42–47

Ordinances: Baptism & the Lord’s Supper

We believe water baptism is an outward testimony of inward faith, and communion remembers Christ’s sacrifice and proclaims His death until He comes.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

Healing, Deliverance & Prayer

We believe Jesus still heals the brokenhearted and sets captives free. We contend in prayer for physical, emotional, and spiritual wholeness, submitting to God’s wisdom and timing. Luke 4:18; James 5:14–16; Mark 16:17–18

Spiritual Gifts

We believe the gifts of the Spirit operate today for the building up of the Church and the advance of the Gospel—exercised biblically, in order, and in love.
1 Corinthians 12–14; Romans 12:6–8; 1 Peter 4:10–11

Marriage, Family & Purity (Brief)

We believe God designed marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman and calls all believers to sexual purity and godly relationships marked by love and truth.
Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5

The Great Commission

We believe every believer is called to make disciples of all nations—preaching the Gospel, baptizing, and teaching obedience to Christ.
Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; Romans 1:16

The Second Coming & Eternal Destiny

We believe Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead. There will be a bodily resurrection and eternal life with God for believers; eternal separation for those who reject Him. John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18
