The Thrive House Medical Assistance Program is a developing charitable initiative dedicated to helping people who fall through the cracks of traditional healthcare systems.

Who We Exist For

We exist for individuals who are:

Uninsured or underinsured
Self-employed or gig workers who don’t qualify for Medi-Cal or Medicare
People who have lost their insurance due to life changes
Individuals who simply cannot afford essential medical care, medications, or wellness support

Built with excellence, integrity, and compassion.

The program is currently in the final stages of being developed, with our systems, partnerships, and application process being built out so we can serve both our local community and people abroad with excellence, integrity, and compassion.

Medical Care Assistance

Provide financial assistance toward essential medical care and prescriptions.

Doctor Visits & Diagnostics

Help individuals access critical doctor visits, labs, diagnostics, and treatments.

Wellness Support

Offer supportive wellness services that contribute to long-term health and quality of life.

Provider Partnerships

Partner with clinics, practitioners, and wellness providers to extend care to those who cannot pay full cost.

At its core, this program is about dignity and access—making sure people are not denied care simply because they don’t have the right insurance card or enough money in their account.

Who We Serve

We focus on individuals who:

Are self-employed or run small businesses and don’t qualify for traditional aid
Have lost coverage due to job loss, divorce, transition, or aging out of a parent’s plan
Are denied or left out of programs like Medi-Cal or Medicare
Are facing financial hardship due to medical bills, chronic illness, or unexpected diagnoses

Our heart is especially turned toward:

Single parents and caregivers
Survivors of trauma or domestic violence
Those living in underserved or overlooked communities
Individuals whose physical health is affecting their ability to work, care for family, or remain stable in housing and life

How the Program Will Work

As the program completes its development, Thrive House Medical Assistance Program is being structured to include:

Application-Based Support

Individuals will be able to apply for help through a confidential application process, sharing their situation, medical needs, and financial hardship.

Board-Reviewed Assistance

A dedicated review team will evaluate applications based on clear, fair criteria—prioritizing those with the greatest need and least access to help.

Direct Support & Partnerships

Support may be offered in various ways, including partial or full assistance toward medical bills or visits, help with essential prescriptions, access to partnered wellness and restorative services, and referrals to additional community resources and support networks.

Community-Supported Giving

The program will connect donors, sponsors, and community partners with real people in need—creating a bridge between compassion and impact.

Helping Locally and Abroad

While our roots are in the local community, the vision of Thrive House Medical Assistance Program extends beyond city lines.

Locally, we aim to support individuals and families in our surrounding communities who are struggling to access care due to cost, lack of coverage, or life circumstances.

Local hands. Global hearts.

Abroad, we plan to come alongside trusted partners, clinics, and organizations to support medical missions, provide targeted assistance for critical medical needs, and help address gaps in care where basic treatment and medicine are out of reach.

Our goal is to build a network that allows generosity to move from local hands to global hearts—wisely, ethically, and with accountability.

Final Stages of Development

Thrive House Medical Assistance Program is currently in the final stages of development. Behind the scenes, we are:

Finalizing program guidelines and eligibility criteria

Completing organizational and legal structures

Building relationships with healthcare providers and wellness partners

Designing the application and review process for both local and international assistance

Current Status

This means:

We are not yet actively distributing funds.

The program is still in development as systems, guidelines, and partnerships are being finalized.

We are laying the foundation.

We are preparing to serve with integrity, sustainability, and impact when the program launches.

Thrive House Medical Assistance Program was born from lived experience—from knowing what it feels like to be self-employed, uninsured, and in need of care with nowhere to turn. We exist to stand in that space for others: To say, “You are not invisible. You are not alone. And your health matters.”
