Today’s Reading:

Exodus Chapter 13

Theme:

Leaving Egypt Is Only the Beginning

Welcome to Day 13 of 40 Days & 40 Nights of Exodus Homework through Living Waters of Redemption Bible Study.

In Exodus Chapter 13, Israel officially begins the journey out of Egypt.

But God does not lead them the shortest way.

Instead, He leads them through the wilderness.

Sometimes God’s route is not the fastest route because He is preparing people spiritually for where they are going.

God also leads Israel with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

His presence becomes their guide.
