Today’s Reading:

Exodus Chapter 14

Theme:

The God Who Makes A Way Through The Sea

Welcome to Day 14 of 40 Days & 40 Nights of Exodus Homework through Living Waters of Redemption Bible Study.

In Exodus Chapter 14, Pharaoh pursues Israel after finally letting them go.

The people become trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea.

Fear spreads quickly.

But this chapter reveals one of the greatest truths in Scripture:

God can make a way where there appears to be no way.

Moses tells the people:

“Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD.”

Then God parts the Red Sea, Israel walks through on dry ground, and Pharaoh’s army is destroyed.

The same sea that became a pathway for God’s people became judgment for their oppressors.

As You Read, Write Down:

  • One verse that stood out to you
  • What this chapter reveals about God
  • What this chapter reveals about faith, fear, and deliverance
  • One personal reflection or prayer

Key Verse:

“Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD.”

— Exodus 14:13
